OM3068SM is a muscle recovering device that present the function of electrical stimulation (FES) to apply small electrical charges to a muscle that has become paralysed or weakened, due to damage in your brain or spinal cord. The electrical charge stimulates the muscle to make its usual movement. In this process, it usually used as a treatment for recovering the damaged body tissues and cells to improve their grow, where disruptions in the nerve pathways between the injury part mean the surface of your injury part that cause you cannot be lifted to the correct angle or felt painful during do some sensitive motion or walking.
How does Stimulator work?
A Stimulator device consists of a controller, about the size of a pack of gel pad, with a battery and electrodes. For example, when your leg muscle is injury and painful, the device is usually worn in a cuff below the knee. This is where the electrodes can stimulate the nerve that goes to the muscle that would normally lift the front of your foot. At the right moment in your gait, when your foot is about to lift up to be swung forwards, the device stimulates the nerve and lifts the foot.
Keep let you leg muscle feel the stimulate process. It may take some time to adjust the timing specifically for you and your gait. Do some small movement when the stimulate process is going on, it may help you muscle easier to stimulate the right part and do the recovering faster.
